Is there really a free trial?

Yes! Every new venue gets a full 30-day free trial with all Standard plan features. No credit card required. At the end of your trial, choose the plan that fits - or walk away, no questions asked.

Can I change plans later?

Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing page. If you upgrade, you'll get immediate access to the new features. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card or bank transfer, whichever suits your committee. Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) are handled by Stripe and we never see or store the details. If your hall has no card - which is most of them, since committee accounts tend to need two signatures - choose a plan on your billing page and ask for an invoice instead. We email it with our bank details and a reference to quote, and your plan starts from the day the money reaches us rather than the day you asked. Annual or monthly, though most treasurers find one payment a year less work.

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No contracts and no minimum term. You pay monthly or annually and can cancel anytime. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Can our hirers pay us by card?

Yes, on every plan, and we take nothing from it. Connect your own Stripe account under Payment Settings - you can sign in to one you already have, or create it as you go - and your invoices carry a card payment link. The money goes straight into your bank account without passing through us. Stripe charges its own fee, currently around 1.5% and 20p on a UK card. Prefer bank transfer only? Leave it alone and nothing changes.

Do I need to pay VAT?

Our prices are exclusive of VAT. If your venue is VAT-registered, VAT will be added at the standard UK rate. Most village halls and community centres are not VAT-registered.

What happens when my trial ends?

We'll send you a reminder a few days before your trial ends. If you don't choose a plan, your account will be paused - your data is safe and you can reactivate anytime within 90 days.

Do you offer discounts for charities?

Many village halls and community centres are registered charities. If your venue holds registered charity status, contact us and we'll discuss what we can do for you.

Can I pay annually?

Yes. Paying annually saves you approximately 17% compared to monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time.
