Every list in the system works the same way
Learn it once on Hirers and you know Bookings, Invoices, Documents and the rest.
-
0:04
Open Hirers from the menu
-
0:07
Search finds a row by anything on it
Name, email, phone. Faster than paging through a long list.
-
0:11
Type a few letters
The list narrows as you type - there is no Go button to press.
-
0:14
Two buttons on every row
View shows you the record without any risk of changing it. Edit opens it for changes.
-
0:18
View is the safe one
Read-only. Good for checking a phone number without touching anything.
-
0:23
Edit opens the same record for changing
The Edit button sits at the top of the View screen too.
-
0:27
Change whatever needs changing
Nothing is saved while you type. You can still walk away.
-
0:30
Save is at the bottom of the form
Every edit screen has it in the same place.
-
0:34
Notice there is no Delete on the row
That is deliberate. Deleting is done from the tick boxes, so it takes more than one slip.
-
0:38
Open Hirers from the menu
-
0:40
Tick the row you mean
Tick as many as you like - the same buttons work on one row or twenty.
-
0:42
Bulk actions appears once something is ticked
-
0:45
Delete selected is in there
-
0:48
It always asks first
And it means it - a deleted hirer takes its bookings and invoices with it. We will say no.
-
0:51
Say no unless you are certain
-
0:54
That is every list in the system
Search, View, Edit, Save, Delete. Bookings, invoices, documents - all the same four buttons.
