Generating a privacy notice

   You are supposed to have one of these

   A privacy notice saying what you hold, why, and how long you keep it.

   Open Privacy Notice from the menu

   It knows your hall already

   Your name, address and contact email come across, so you are not filling in a blank template.

4. 0:10

   Generate the notice

   It covers the things a village hall actually does - bookings, invoices, a mailing list.

5. 0:13

   Read it before you publish it

   It is a strong starting point, not legal advice. Change anything that does not match how your hall works.

6. 0:17

   Then put it on your website

   And link it from your booking form, which is where people hand you their details.

7. 0:20

   One afternoon, once

   Review it if the way you use people's details changes.
