Everything we have changed, and when
Most of what is on this page started as an email from a village hall. We write these in the same words we send our
halls, so you can see for yourself how often this thing actually moves.
Your calendar colours a booking by its type of hire, and falls back to the colour of the room when there is no type. The key underneath listed only your rooms, so it could tell somebody green meant the Back Room while a green booking sat in the Main Hall. It now lists exactly the colours actually on the calendar and what each one stands for, so it cannot say anything the calendar does not. Fixed on your public calendar, the one you embed, and the one in the plugin.

The embedded enquiry form was being cut off
If you have our enquiry form on your own website, it was being shown in a fixed-height box that was too short for it, so the bottom of the form, including the send button, was cut off. Anybody trying to enquire through your website would not have been able to. Both the calendar and the form now measure themselves and tell your page how tall to be, so nothing is clipped and there is no longer an odd gap underneath. If enquiries through your website have been quieter than you expected, this was why.

The invoice link now shows what a hirer has already paid
When a hirer opened their invoice from the link in their email, part payments were not shown, so they saw the full amount with no sign of what they had already sent. The Paid and Balance Due lines now appear there, matching the PDF.

Invoices now show half hours properly
A booking of an hour and a half was charged correctly but the invoice printed the quantity as "2", so the line read like a sum that did not add up. It now shows 1.5, and whole hours still show as plain numbers. If a hirer has queried a line recently, that was why.

Payment reminders now count part payments
Reminder emails were asking for the full invoice amount even when a hirer had already paid some of it, and they showed the same hundred-times-too-small figure as invoice emails. Both are fixed, so a reminder now asks for exactly what is still outstanding. The View Invoice button in those emails also works properly now, taking the hirer straight to their invoice instead of a sign-in page.

Invoice emails showed the wrong amount
Invoice emails sent to hirers were showing the amount a hundred times too small, so a £44 invoice read as £0.44. The invoice itself and the PDF were always correct, and only the figure in the email was wrong. It is fixed, and any invoice you send from now on will show the right amount. If a hirer queried an odd-looking figure recently, that was why.

Creating your first invoice now works for every venue
Some venues hit an error when raising their very first invoice, caused by a numbering clash behind the scenes. That is fixed - every venue's invoices now start cleanly at INV-00001 and count up from there.

Team member invitations now work first time
New team members who followed their invitation link were being asked to verify their email a second time - and could end up on a confusing "register your hall" page. That is fixed: set a password, and you are straight in. Made a typo in their email address? Edit the invite, correct it, and a fresh invitation goes out automatically.

Adding a team member you already know works every time
Adding someone whose email address was already on the system could fail if the address was typed with different capital letters. It now finds the existing account and adds them to your venue.

The embedded calendar now works on your own website
The calendar you embed on your village hall website displays properly again, and the month arrows and room filters work inside it - no more "page has expired" messages for your visitors.

Editing a booking now saves reliably
Some edits were wrongly blocked with a message about a time clash even when nothing overlapped. That is fixed - you can rename and adjust bookings freely.
